We have a winner for the GI Joe sketches and it is-------

Ian! So Congrats Ian!! We would also like to thank Ezio, Ori and Jarrod for their very cool and different Joes.

I have chosen a name from the lucky Yankees hat. Russ, has won the sketch of his choice. He chose Jarrod's Beach Head sketch, congrats Russ and we should be sending out that sketch to you as soon as possible.

8/20/09 - Sketch Contest

Ian was our big winner last week with his very excellent Steve Rogers aka. Captain America remembering his past in "The Glory Days." Ian has chosen the next theme from your suggestions, GI JOE, a real AMERICAN Hero. I just came back from the new motion picture--I wish I could bring good news of a great GI Joe story--but alas it was not to be. I could go into more detail but, honestly it would terrify you. Thankfully we have some great sketches in store for you that hopefully capture the spirit of GI Joe from the cartoon to the comic books. Enjoy!

Hey Everybody--It's been a tough year but it looks like we're about ready to come out of the cave to start up a new wave of Sketch Contests.

Here are the rules:

1. e-mail us your ideas about what you would like. (Favorite Characters, themes, movies, etc.) at cavedrawingink@yahoo.com

2. We'll go through and choose one. Our Artists will take a crack at it.

3. Then you guys vote on your favorite sketch.

4. Out of the participants we will randomly choose a winner out of the hat.

5. The Winner gets the original sketch of their choice.

Cave Drawing Ink Presents: Rise of the Outlanders

For a few months now we have been giving hints about our new book coming out at the end of May. Well we just got the cover, created by our very own Jarrod Gecek and well, It's pretty awesome but don't take my word for it...
